South Carolina has adopted the Model Replacement Regulation effective September 24, 2009. The model replacement form #ET-RPL-4900 (6-09) is available on AppBuilder and can be used immediately, but will not be required until September 24th.

The model replacement form applies whenever the client has existing life insurance or annuities, regardless of whether or not the policy is being replaced. Please see the replacement section of the EquiTrust Business Guidelines for further information.

Also, the Free Look Period will be extended to 30 days in South Carolina for replacement policies issued on or after September 24th.
