Ohio Agents Reminder Regarding Obligations to Report Breaches of Client Information
Attention Ohio agents: This is a reminder that you have an obligation to report breaches of client information.
Ohio regulations require both the agent and the insurer to provide notice to the Superintendent of Insurance when the personal information of 250 or more customers is compromised. Should you encounter such a situation you are also required to notify EquiTrust's Compliance Department at 877-249-3694 ext 6531.
