Suitability Letters to Clients
Effective January 2011, EquiTrust has announced that, to comply with the Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation, we have implemented additional suitability procedures, including the use of a customer letter confirming suitability information. This letter will be mailed to all annuity customers following our receipt of a new annuity application. The letter will include a copy of all suitability information provided on the financial needs analysis form and asks the customer to review the information that was provided. Customers are asked to notify the company if any information should be corrected.
