Texas Annuity Producer Required Training

The Texas Department of Insurance recently adopted a requirement for annuity certification and education. The training requirement is effective April 1, 2010. The Texas DOI will use Sircon to manage courses and reporting. Approved courses are on the Sircon website.

You are required to complete the four-hour training prior to your first license renewal date after April 1, 2010. Completion of the training prior to your first renewal date will ensure no interruption in your selling authority.

Please note: If you have not completed within the time period allowed, we will be unable to accept new annuity business until the training is completed.
