Oregon Annuity Recommendation Requirement

An agent making a recommendation of an annuity purchase in Oregon is required to provide the consumer a copy of the basis for making the recommendation. The documentation is to include details as to how the agent arrived at this recommendation. We suggest that you leave your client a copy of the completed Financial Needs Analysis and/or alternative document(s) containing the relevant details in support of the recommendation.
