If you’re an active agent with EquiTrust, you can access your clients’ contract and policy information by logging in to the Agent Gateway or contacting our Customer Contact Center. If a client would like to authorize a new party to access their contract or policy information, they may do so by completing a Power of Attorney Certification Form or Client Release of Authorization Form. Any suspected attempts to impersonate a client or gain unauthorized access to confidential information will result in “red flags” being raised that could affect our ability to maintain standard processing times for your clients.

Kansas, Oregon adopt revised NAIC Model Regulation
The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) revised the Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation 275 in February 2020. Kansas and Oregon recently joined a growing number of states that have adopted the Regulation. Producers have the choice of taking either a new 4-hour credit training course approved by the department after the effective date OR an additional 1-credit course approved by the department and provided by a department-approved education provider. This course covers appropriate sales practices, replacement and disclosure requirements.
